What does the label NEU mean?

In the fight against microplastics, the EU has decided that regular loose glitter (made of plastic) may no longer be sold as of October 15, 2023. We very much welcome this decision. This regulation does not yet apply in Switzerland, but is being discussed. All glitter in our shop is already biodegradable. However, according to EU regulations, only certain ingredients are permitted. All glitter that already complies with these regulations is marked "NEU."
